The different cops Will and Cham are entrusted with the investigation, not suspecting that the search for the murderer will lead them into their own hell.

This time he ups the ante in terms of macabre gothic flair, nasty jump scares and gruesome deaths. COMMUNION in fact overtook the first part at the local box office and ranks third among the most successful Indonesian films of all time.

In the profoundly nihilistic scenario of LOCKDOWN TOWER, which rises to the level of a cinematic dare, man is again wolf to man, with sharp teeth – and no morals whatsoever.

Distraught, Sigrid flees, but eventually returns to the platonic partnership of convenience. After all, it’s the 21st century and who is she to tell Frank how to live. Plus it's really fun to scratch his fake fur head and play fetch. But is Frank really as harmless as Christian claims? And who is he anyway?

Throw your old-fashioned moral concepts overboard for this date movie of the wackiest kind. Viljar Bøe’s film transcends the boundaries of genre as much as those between humans and animals. Be a good audience and watch GOOD BOY!

Once a Finnish beauty queen, now the aging Marjaleena hangs out at her Bar Bella on the Costa del Sol. Given this decline no wonder she likes to drink, preferably on a daily binge with drunkard buddy Mikko and her grown-up son Vili (Johannes Holopainen from HEAVY TRIP). Their carefree days could have gone on forever if it weren't for the increasing menace that is the Albanian mafia as well as Marjaleena's loathsome ex, who is suddenly released from prison. He now wants to get his hands on the Bella and soon enough the boozy trio finds out why: secretly hidden in the basement of the bar is a suitcase full of dineros.

Santa Mierda! Following his already superb DOGS DON'T WEAR PANTS, J.-P. Valkeapää once again proves himself to be the inventor of fantastically insane stories, served up with a good dash of gallows humour and absurd characters. Yet again he lets them wade through the pits of humanity to maybe earn their little bit of luck in the end.

Nala's sister is ill and doesn’t respond to any healing method. While the parents continue to search for help, they leave their daughters in the care of their estranged grandmother Josefa. The grumpy woman scares Nala already upon arrival at the secluded mansion and the girl's worst premonitions quickly seem to come true: shadows lurk in every corner, the night brings bad dreams and some green brew simmers on the stove. When a corpse ends up swimming in the rotten pool, it’s already too late to escape.

Folk horror par excellence: In Isaac Ezban's gothic horror tale, the set design already anticipates the morbid atmosphere of impending doom. Despite its young actresses, EVIL EYE is by no means child-friendly viewing, rather it thrives on menacing gloom and disgusting practical effects which hit home harder in our age of soulless CGI blood. Grim and haunting cinema from Mexico, of the kind that Hollywood hasn't managed to pull off for a while.

Primary school teacher Emily is out for lunch with some like-minded ladies. They are all extremely concerned: How can they stop the threat posed by all these foreign workers in their small neighbourhood? Not to mention the rise of multiculturalism. Together, the friends make plans to save decent, white America from the enemy invasion. In order to celebrate their optimistic vision of the future, the incited women end up at a liquor store. When two Asian-American women come through the door, they are unexpectedly confronted with an aggressive mob and the situation spirals out of control.
